Advance your career as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in home health by conducting comprehensive risk assessments within Desha County and surrounding communities. This per diem role is ideal for experienced practitioners seeking flexibility and autonomy while making a meaningful impact on Medicare Advantage plan members.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
- Ability to design your own schedule
- Meet a minimum commitment on a weekly or bi-weekly basis
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete annual health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage participants during home visits
- Review and evaluate patient medical, surgical, and medication histories
- Offer thorough education to members about chronic conditions and medication usage
- Identify care gaps and provide actionable recommendations to improve patient outcomes
- No ongoing treatment planning or medication prescribing required
Qualifications:
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Arkansas
- Active BLS/CPR certification
- National board certification through AANP or ANCC
- Completion of an MSN from an accredited institution
- Six months of current NP experience is highly preferred
This position offers competitive compensation of $80$90 for each completed evaluation, in addition to mileage stipends and compensation for administrative time. You will travel to various locations across Desha County, including Dumas, McGehee, and Arkansas City, with visits averaging 45 minutes each.
