Job Description
This per diem opportunity is ideal for experienced Nurse Practitioners who enjoy autonomy and the flexibility to design their own schedules. You will be delivering home health risk assessments to Medicare Advantage plan members throughout Latah County, including communities like Moscow, Genesee, and Troy. Each patient visit typically lasts about 45 minutes and may focus on either annual health evaluations or post-discharge follow-ups, depending on patient need.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
- Set your own working hours and frequency
- Commit to a minimum weekly or bi-weekly schedule
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage members
- Thoroughly review and evaluate prior and current medical histories, existing conditions, and medication usage
- Provide clear education to patients regarding their medical conditions and prescribed medications
- Detect any gaps in care and offer evidence-based recommendations
- No prescribing or creation of treatment plans required
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Idaho (ID)
- Current certification in CPR (BLS)
- Board certified through AANP or ANCC
- MSN from an accredited nursing program
- At least 6 months of current Nurse Practitioner experience is preferred
You will receive compensation of $80-$90 per evaluation, plus stipends to cover mileage and allotted administrative time.
