Job Description
Seeking a dedicated healthcare professional with home health expertise to conduct in-home risk assessments as a Nurse Practitioner in Sharp County, AR. This per diem opportunity offers the flexibility to create your own schedule while making a positive impact on Medicare Advantage plan members in Cherokee Village, Horseshoe Bend, Cave City, and the greater Sharp County area.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
- Design your own schedule to fit your lifestyle
- Minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitment required
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive home health risk assessments, typically lasting about 45 minutes each
- Review prior and current medical history, evaluating ongoing conditions and medication regimens
- Educate patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
- Identify potential gaps in care and provide recommendations to close those gaps
- Focus strictly on assessmentsno treatment plans or medication prescribing involved
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas
- Current CPR (BLS) certification
- Board Certified through AANP or ANCC
- MSN degree from an accredited nursing program
- At least 6 months of recent Nurse Practitioner experience is preferred
This role offers competitive compensation at $80-$90 per evaluation, along with a mileage stipend and payment for administrative time.
