This per diem opportunity is ideal for Nurse Practitioners seeking flexibility and the chance to provide important care to Medicare Advantage plan members throughout Espanola and neighboring towns such as Chama and Abiqui.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
- Self-scheduling optionsdesign your own workweek
- Minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitment
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete annual home health risk assessments in patients residences
- Evaluate comprehensive medical history, current conditions, and medication use
- Deliver education to members about their health conditions and medication regimens
- Identify potential gaps in care and offer recommendations for resolution
- No responsibility for creating treatment plans or prescribing medications
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in New Mexico
- Current CPR certification (BLS)
- Board Certification via AANP or ANCC required
- Minimum of 6 months' experience as an NP preferred
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program
This position offers $80-$90 per completed evaluation, with a mileage stipend and additional compensation for administrative time, rewarding your expertise and commitment to quality care.
