Enjoy a flexible per diem opportunity as an experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in home health assessments. In this role, youll serve Medicare Advantage plan members across Hempstead County, ARincluding Hope, Blevins, and Perrytownby performing in-home risk assessments. Each visit typically lasts about 45 minutes and could range from annual health assessments to post-discharge visits. This position is perfectly suited for professionals who value autonomy and variety in their work environment.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available seven days a week
- Set your own schedule
- Choose from minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage members
- Review and evaluate prior and current medical history, medical conditions, and medication lists
- Offer patient education regarding diagnoses, medications, and wellness
- Detect gaps in care and recommend actions to close those gaps
- No requirements for developing treatment plans or prescribing medications
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas
- Active CPR certification (BLS)
- Board certified through AANP or ANCC
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a Nurse Practitioner (preferred)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program
This per diem, home-based role offers a competitive compensation of $80-$90 per completed risk evaluation, plus mileage reimbursement and compensation for administrative time.
