Utilize your advanced clinical skills to make a meaningful impact as a Nurse Practitioner conducting home health risk assessments across Edgecombe County. This per diem opportunity empowers you to create your own schedule, so you can balance professional fulfillment with personal commitments. Flexible shifts are available Monday through Sunday, with a minimum hourly commitment on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, allowing you to choose shifts that work best for your lifestyle.
Pay for this role is $80$90 per evaluation, with additional compensation for mileage and administrative time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform annual home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members throughout Edgecombe County, including Tarboro, Lower Town Creek, and Princeville
- Assess patients' prior and current medical history, conditions, and medication use through thorough in-home evaluations
- Educate patients about chronic and acute medical conditions as well as proper medication management
- Identify gaps in care, discuss potential issues, and provide actionable recommendations without developing treatment plans or prescribing medications
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina
- Board Certification through AANP or ANCC
- Current CPR certification (BLS)
- MSN from an accredited school of nursing
- At least six months of recent Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and travel throughout assigned locations within Edgecombe County
