A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to perform home health risk assessments on a per diem basis. This role focuses on providing quality assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members throughout Monroe County, including Brinkley, Clarendon, and Holly Grove. Flexible scheduling allows you to create your own work hours, making this ideal for professionals seeking autonomy and work-life balance.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
- Create your own schedule
- Minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive annual health risk assessments in patients homes
- Evaluate patients medical histories, current health conditions, and medication regimens
- Offer patient education regarding medical conditions and proper medication usage
- Identify gaps in care and make actionable recommendations to address them
- Note: No requirements for prescribing medications or formulating treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas
- Active CPR certification (BLS)
- Board certification from AANP or ANCC
- At least 6 months of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution
This per diem position offers competitive compensation$80-$90 per evaluation, plus mileage reimbursement and additional pay for administrative tasks.
