Experience a rewarding opportunity as an experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in home health assessments in Pope County, AR. In this per diem role, you'll conduct home-based risk evaluations for Medicare Advantage plan participants living in areas such as Russellville, Pottsville, and Atkins. Each assessment averages about 45 minutes, focusing on annual reviews or post-discharge visits.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
- Design your own work schedule
- Choose your preference for weekly or bi-weekly hour commitment
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive annual home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage members
- Review and evaluate prior/current medical history, chronic and acute medical conditions, and medication lists
- Deliver clear education on medical conditions and medications directly to members
- Identify potential gaps in care and offer actionable recommendations
- No creation of treatment plans or medication prescribing required
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Arkansas
- Current CPR certification (BLS)
- Board Certification as NP via AANP or ANCC
- At least 6 months of recent NP experience preferred
- MSN degree from an accredited nursing program
This role offers competitive compensation of $80-$90 per evaluation, in addition to a mileage stipend and compensation for administrative time.
