Job Description
Make a meaningful difference in patient care by providing comprehensive health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members in the Colorado Springs region and greater El Paso County area. This per diem opportunity empowers Nurse Practitioners who enjoy flexible scheduling and varied clinical experiences.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
- Design your own working hours
- Set a minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitment that fits your lifestyle
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough annual risk assessments in home settings for Medicare Advantage members
- Review and evaluate prior/current medical and medication histories
- Offer patient education related to chronic conditions and prescribed medications
- Identify gaps in care and recommend appropriate follow-up actions
- No treatment plan development or medication prescribing required
Key Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Colorado
- Current CPR (BLS) certification
- Board certification through AANP or ANCC
- At least 6 months of recent NP experience preferred
- MSN degree from an accredited nursing program
Compensation for this role includes $80-$90 per evaluation, along with a mileage stipend and reimbursement for administrative time.
