Deliver expert care and make a difference as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members across Sharp County, AR. This per diem opportunity offers professionals the flexibility to create their own schedules and focus on high-impact patient interactions.
Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible shifts are available Monday through Sunday
- Design your own work schedule to accommodate your lifestyle
- Minimum hourly commitment on a weekly or bi-weekly basis
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive annual and post-discharge home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage members living throughout Sharp County
- Assess patients medical history, current health conditions, and medication use during each 45-minute evaluation
- Offer education tailored to patients medical issues and prescribed medications
- Recognize gaps in care, making recommendations for improved health outcomes
- Note that this role excludes developing treatment plans or issuing prescriptions
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Arkansas
- Board certified through AANP or ANCC
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS, CPR) certification
- MSN degree from an accredited nursing program
- At least 6 months of recent nurse practitioner experience is preferred but not required
As a valued provider, youll receive competitive compensation of $80$90 per evaluation, along with a mileage stipend and administrative time support. This position allows you to support your community by conducting home visits in dynamic locations like Cherokee Village, Horseshoe Bend, and Cave City.
