This per diem Nurse Practitioner opportunity focuses on conducting home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members within Ouachita County, AR. As part of this role, you will visit patients in their homes in Camden, Stephens, Bearden, and surrounding areas. Each assessment typically takes about 45 minutes and may be an annual wellness check or a post-discharge visit. Schedule flexibility allows you to shape your hours, with shifts available any day of the week and a minimum weekly or bi-weekly commitment.
Schedule:

Responsibilities:
- Perform annual home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage members
- Review and evaluate patients prior and current medical and medication history
- Educate patients on their conditions and medications to encourage compliance and understanding
- Identify and document gaps in care, providing recommendations for addressing them
- No need to develop treatment plans or prescribe medications
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas
- Current CPR certification (BLS required)
- Board certification through AANP or ANCC
- Minimum of six months current Nurse Practitioner experience is preferred
- MSN degree earned from an accredited nursing school
This role offers compensation of $80 to $90 per completed evaluation, including a mileage stipend and administrative time, providing both financial reward and professional autonomy.
