Step into a pivotal healthcare role performing home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members in Mitchell County. This per diem opportunity is well-suited for dedicated Nurse Practitioners seeking autonomy and a flexible work schedule.

Schedule:

• Flexible shifts available any day, Monday through Sunday
• Self-scheduling with the opportunity to determine your own hours
• Minimum commitment on a weekly or bi-weekly basis

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive home health risk assessments, each taking approximately 45 minutes, for Medicare Advantage enrollees in locations throughout Mitchell County
• Review and document patients medical histories, current conditions, and medication regimens
• Educate patients on their health conditions and prescribed medications to promote understanding and compliance
• Recognize and identify gaps in care, recommending actions to address these issues
• No requirement to create treatment plans or prescribe medications

Qualifications:

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina
• Board Certification through AANP or ANCC
• MSN degree from an accredited nursing school
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Six months or more of NP experience is preferred

Compensation for this role is structured at $80-$90 for each evaluation performed, with additional mileage reimbursement and paid administrative time for your efforts.
