Job Description

Deliver high-quality patient care in a rewarding per diem role as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in home health risk assessments. This opportunity offers autonomy and flexibility while supporting Medicare Advantage members within Jackson County, AR, including Newport, Tuckerman, and Diaz.

Schedule:

  • Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
  • Set your own schedule
  • Minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitment required

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members, typically lasting 45 minutes
  • Assess patients prior and current medical histories, medical conditions, and detailed medication use
  • Educate patients about their medical conditions and medications to promote better health outcomes
  • Identify and address care gaps, providing actionable recommendations
  • No requirement to create treatment plans or prescribe medications

Qualifications:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas
  • Board Certification through AANP or ANCC (required)
  • Current CPR certification (BLS)
  • MSN degree from an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum of 6 months current Nurse Practitioner experience preferred

This position allows you to work independently, making a positive impact in your community by helping members manage their health in the comfort of their homes. Compensation includes $80$90 per evaluation, with additional stipends for mileage and administrative time.
