Job Description
Deliver high-quality patient care in a rewarding per diem role as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in home health risk assessments. This opportunity offers autonomy and flexibility while supporting Medicare Advantage members within Jackson County, AR, including Newport, Tuckerman, and Diaz.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
- Set your own schedule
- Minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitment required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members, typically lasting 45 minutes
- Assess patients prior and current medical histories, medical conditions, and detailed medication use
- Educate patients about their medical conditions and medications to promote better health outcomes
- Identify and address care gaps, providing actionable recommendations
- No requirement to create treatment plans or prescribe medications
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas
- Board Certification through AANP or ANCC (required)
- Current CPR certification (BLS)
- MSN degree from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 6 months current Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
This position allows you to work independently, making a positive impact in your community by helping members manage their health in the comfort of their homes. Compensation includes $80$90 per evaluation, with additional stipends for mileage and administrative time.
