Job Description

Deliver impactful healthcare directly to patients homes as a Nurse Practitioner focused on home health risk assessments. This per diem opportunity allows you to serve a diverse Medicare Advantage population in Ouachita County, conducting assessments in communities such as Bearden, Camden, and Stephens.

Schedule:

  • Flexible shifts available any day of the week, Monday through Sunday
  • Design your own work schedule
  • Commit to a minimum number of hours weekly or bi-weekly

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members
  • Assess current and prior medical history, review ongoing conditions, and evaluate medication usage
  • Offer patient education regarding health conditions and prescribed medications
  • Identify care gaps and provide recommendations, supporting members in achieving optimal health outcomes
  • No requirement to develop treatment plans or prescribe; focus remains on assessment and patient guidance

Qualifications:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas
  • Current CPR certification (BLS)
  • Certified through AANP or ANCC
  • Minimum of 6 months current NP experience preferred
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution

This position offers competitive pay of $80$90 for each evaluation, as well as a mileage stipend and compensation for administrative time.
