Enjoy meaningful, flexible work as a Nurse Practitioner delivering home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members across Avery County, NC. This per diem opportunity allows you to manage your own schedule while making a direct difference in the health and well-being of your community. Youll meet individuals in locations such as Banner Elk, Beech Mountain, Crossnore, and Elk Park, providing vital assessments in the comfort of their homes.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available any day, Monday through Sunday
- Set your own schedule based on your availability
- Minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitmentadaptable to your preferences
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete annual home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage members
- Review prior and current medical history, conditions, and medications
- Educate clients on their medical conditions and medication management
- Recognize gaps in care and offer actionable recommendations
- No treatment planning or prescribing requiredfocus is on assessment and education
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina
- MSN from an accredited nursing school
- Board certification via AANP or ANCC
- Current BLS CPR certification
- At least 6 months of recent NP experience preferred
For each assessment, earn $80$90 per visit, with additional compensation for mileage and administrative duties.
