Job Description
As a Nurse Practitioner specializing in home health, youll perform risk assessments for Medicare Advantage members throughout Carroll County, AR. This vital, per diem role allows you to make a meaningful impact in the community by evaluating patients in their own homes in areas such as Berryville, Green Forest, and Holiday Island. Each assessment averages about 45 minutes and your visits may include annual health check-ups or post-discharge reviews.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts offered seven days a week
- Create your own work schedule
- Minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitments available
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive home health risk assessments for Medicare Advantage plan members
- Review and document prior and current medical history, conditions, and medication usage
- Educate patients on chronic and acute medical issues, as well as their prescribed medications
- Identify gaps in care and make actionable recommendations to improve patient outcomes
- No requirement for developing treatment plans or prescribing medications
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas
- Current CPR certification (BLS)
- Board certification through AANP or ANCC
- At least 6 months of recent NP experience (highly preferred)
- Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution
This position offers compensation of $80$90 per evaluation, plus a mileage stipend and additional administrative time.
