Make a significant impact in the lives of Medicare Advantage plan members throughout Blount County, providing high-quality home health assessments as a per diem Nurse Practitioner. This rewarding opportunity allows you to deliver outstanding care while enjoying flexibility and autonomy in your schedule.
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday
- Create your own schedule to fit personal and professional commitments
- Choose a minimum weekly or bi-weekly hourly commitment that works for you
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct home health risk assessments, typically lasting around 45 minutes each, at various locations including Maryville, Alcoa, and Friendsville
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients medical history, current conditions, and medication usage
- Educate patients on their medical conditions and prescribed medications to promote better health outcomes and understanding
- Identify gaps in care and provide clear, actionable recommendations for follow-up and resolution
- Focus on assessment and educationno development of treatment plans or prescription writing required
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Tennessee
- Valid CPR certification (BLS)
- Board certified through AANP or ANCC
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution
- At least 6 months of recent Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
This role is compensated at $80-$90 per completed evaluation, with additional stipends for mileage and administrative time.
