Sunbelt Staffing is seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a travel contract position in home health care in Albuquerque, NM. This is an exciting opportunity for RNs who are passionate about providing high-quality care to patients in the comfort of their own homes while exploring the vibrant city of Albuquerque.

Position Details:

  • Duration: 8-13 weeks, with potential for extension

Requirements:

  • Active New Mexico RN license or ability to obtain licensure in NM
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in home health care
  • Proficiency with OASIS assessment documentation with a 24-hour turnaround time
  • Reliable transportation and active car insurance
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes, focusing on holistic assessment, planning, and implementation of care.
  • Conduct OASIS assessments with a 24-hour turnaround time, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Perform skilled nursing interventions, medication management, wound care, and patient education to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Utilize technology and telehealth resources to enhance communication and coordination of care.
