Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in San Marcos, CA. This position involves providing specialized health care support within a special needs classroom setting, ensuring the well-being and safety of students with diverse medical needs.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct health care services to students in a special needs classroom, including medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures as needed.
Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other school staff to support the educational and health needs of students.
Monitor and assess students' health status throughout the school day, responding promptly to any medical emergencies or changes in condition.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records and documentation related to student care and medication administration.

Qualifications:

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensed in the state of California.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
