Position Overview:

  • Location: Near Del Valle, Texas
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Start/End Dates: Beginning and concluding with the 2024-2025 school year
  • Licensure Requirement: Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional speech and language services to a diverse student population
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings to identify communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings

Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish for Bilingual SLPs
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred but not required
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and cultural competency skills
