Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing, a nationwide healthcare staffing agency, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract position in Easton, MD. The successful candidate will join our client, a leading nationwide home health agency, and provide quality patient care in a home-based setting.

Contract Details:

Location: Easton, MD
Company: Sunbelt Staffing
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (with possible extension upon successful start and completion)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with occasional weekends and on-call duty (typically one weekend per month on-call)
Compensation: Negotiable, based on experience and territory budget
Mileage Reimbursement: 0.48c per mile from patient home to home
Blended Pay Packages: Available for travelers
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k match after 90 days

Job Responsibilities

Perform thorough patient assessments using OASIS, documenting all findings accurately and in compliance with agency standards.
Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinating with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to meet patient needs.
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, catheter care, and IV therapy.
Educate patients and their families about care plans, medication management, and health maintenance.
Maintain accurate patient records in Homecare Homebase (HCHB), ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Travel to patient homes within the Easton, MD area using reliable transportation.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland.
Minimum of 1 year of home health experience.
Proficiency in OASIS and Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Reliable transportation with valid driver's license.
Ability to meet Joint Commission onboarding standards upon offer.
