Sunbelt Staffing, a nationwide healthcare staffing agency, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract position in Bryant, AR. The successful candidate will join our client, a leading nationwide home health agency, and provide quality patient care in a home-based setting.
Contract Details:
- Location: Bryant, AR
- Company: Sunbelt Staffing
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks (with possible extension upon successful start and completion)
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with occasional weekends and on-call duty (typically one weekend per month on-call)
- Compensation: Negotiable, based on experience and territory budget
- Mileage Reimbursement: 0.48c per mile from patient home to home
- Blended Pay Packages: Available for travelers
- Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k match after 90 days
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments using OASIS, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with agency standards.
- Develop and update individualized care plans, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress, report changes in condition, and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on healthcare topics to promote wellness and patient independence.
- Utilize Homecare Homebase (HCHB) for patient documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Travel to patient homes within the Bryant, AR area using reliable transportation.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and in-service training sessions.
- Maintain compliance with Joint Commission standards and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arkansas.
- Minimum of 1 year of home health experience.
- Proficiency in OASIS and Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license.
- Ability to meet Joint Commission onboarding standards upon offer.
