Sunbelt Staffing, a nationwide staffing agency, is seeking dedicated RNs for a 13-week contract with our client, a reputable long-term care facility in Asheville. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week, offering competitive compensation, and a range of benefits.

Position Overview:

Location: Asheville, NC
Duration: 13-week contract with potential for extension
Hours: 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, evening and midnight shifts available
Pay: Negotiable based on experience and facility budget; blended pay packages for travelers
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plans

Job Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility
Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient responses
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Document patient care activities and ensure compliance with facility policies and regulations
Monitor patient health and respond to changes in condition, providing appropriate interventions
Communicate with patients' families regarding their care and treatment plans
Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines

Requirements:

Active North Carolina RN license
Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
At least 2 years of RN experience, with one year in a similar long-term care setting
