Position Details:

  • Duration: 13-week contract with possibility of extension upon successful completion.
  • Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional weekends and on-call duty (typically one weekend per month).
  • Location: Spokane, WA
  • Compensation: Hourly rate negotiable based on experience and territory budget, with weekly pay and mileage reimbursement. Range typically is $45-$55 per hour. 
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and 401k options available after 90 days.

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Washington. 
  • Must have Oasis and Homecare Homebase experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of home health experience, including proficiency in Oasis and Homecare Homebase.
  • Active American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care delivery.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Joint Commission onboarding standards upon offer.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health conditions using Oasis and Homecare Homebase software, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and patients' families to develop personalized care plans tailored to meet individual needs and preferences.
  • Administer skilled nursing interventions, including wound care, medication management, and IV therapy, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
  • Monitor patient progress closely, evaluating response to treatment and adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and promote well-being.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medication administration, and symptom recognition, empowering them to actively participate in their care.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and holistic care delivery.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights and perspectives to facilitate collaborative care planning and continuity of care.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions, adhering to agency policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and cultural sensitivity in all interactions with patients and their families, fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment.
