Sunbelt Staffing has partnered with a leading home health agency providing top-notch care to patients in the Beckley, WV area. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract. Contract Details:
- Location: Beckley, WV
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Additional Work: Occasional weekends and on-call, typically one weekend per month
- Travel Stipend: Available for out-of-area travelers
- Pay: Weekly, negotiable hourly rate based on experience and territory budget
Job Description:
- Conducting thorough in-home patient assessments to determine medical needs and care plans.
- Providing direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
- Documenting patient information and care details using OASIS and Homecare Homebase.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, physical therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educating patients and their families on managing their health conditions and promoting safety in the home.
- Responding to on-call duties and weekend coverage as assigned, typically one weekend per month.
Requirements:
- Active West Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Active West Virginia Cares.
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of home health experience.
- Proficiency with OASIS and Homecare Homebase.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate, negotiable based on experience and territory budget.
