Contract Details:

Company: Sunbelt Staffing, on behalf of a nationwide home health agency.
Position: Full-time Home Health Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Largo, MD
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with one weekend per month on call
Compensation: Negotiable hourly rate based on territory budget and candidate experience, with mileage reimbursement. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401k after 90 days. Weekly pay.
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k after 90 days of employment.

Job Requirements:

Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in Maryland.
Active American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health physical therapy.
Proficiency with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) software, Oasis, and Outlook Point Care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain productivity standards of 30 units per week.

Job Responsibilities:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional limitations within their homes.
Developing personalized treatment plans aimed at enhancing mobility, reducing pain, and improving overall function.
Providing skilled physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and gait training.
Collaborating closely with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
Educating patients and caregivers on proper techniques, safety measures, and home exercise programs to support ongoing progress.
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment interventions, and outcomes using electronic health record systems.
