Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Education Teacher to join our team on a full-time contract basis in Scottsdale, AZ. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities, ensuring goals are tailored to their unique strengths and needs.
  • Provide differentiated instruction and accommodations to support student learning and promote academic growth.
  • Collaborate with parents, school staff, and specialists to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive and structured learning environment.
  • Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies as necessary to meet educational goals.
  • Monitor and report on student achievement and behavior, maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement.
  • IVP Fingerprint Card
