A dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant is needed for a 26-week assignment within a psychiatric and behavioral health setting. This clinical role focuses on supporting individuals experiencing mental health challenges in a secure environment, assisting with daily living activities and maintaining safety protocols under the supervision of nursing professionals.

Schedule/Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Shift options:
  • Days: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
  • Evenings: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
  • Nights: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Overtime may be available based on facility needs (not guaranteed)

Requirements:

• Active CNA certification, meeting applicable state requirements
• At least 12 years of previous contract experience required
• Background in psychiatric, behavioral health, correctional, or long-term care settings preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain before starting
• Ability to manage high-acuity or behavioral situations with composure and professionalism
• Successful completion of background screening, drug testing, and onboarding process

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with ADLs such as hygiene, grooming, dressing, and meal support
• Monitor, observe, and document behavioral and safety concerns, reporting changes to the clinical team
• Support structured therapeutic activities and programming
• Follow behavioral health safety guidelines to ensure security and comfort for all patients
• Help facilitate patient admissions, discharges, and room transfers
• Communicate patient care needs and updates to interdisciplinary team
• Adhere to policies covering confidentiality, infection control, and patient safety

$1,290 - $1,360/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
