A rewarding opportunity awaits an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support elementary students with complex medical needs in an educational setting. This full-time, interim position focuses on providing compassionate care and assistance to 5th-grade level students, including coverage during bus transportation.
Schedule:
- Full-time hours
- Inclusion of bus riding duties as part of daily responsibilities
Key Qualifications:
- Active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) license required
- Recognized CNA certification
- Prior experience working with children, particularly at the 5th-grade level
- Demonstrated ability to support students with complex medical needs in a close 2:1 care ratio
- Comfortable providing assistance during bus transportation to and from school
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver daily nursing assistant care for students within the elementary school environment
- Collaborate closely with educational and medical staff to implement appropriate care plans
- Accompany assigned students on bus routes, ensuring a safe and supportive environment at all times
- Monitor and document students health conditions, alerting medical or school staff of any concerns
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere, adapting to the unique needs of each child
