A rewarding opportunity is available for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support elementary-age students with complex medical needs in an engaging school environment. Schedule & Hours:
- Full-time position
- Includes responsibility for supporting students during bus rides
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, attentive care for 5th-grade students with significant health needs
- Support a 2:1 ratio, ensuring safety and well-being during classroom activities and transitions
- Assist with mobility, daily living activities, and any individualized medical interventions as directed
- Accompany and supervise students during transportation to and from school, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere
- Communicate effectively with school personnel, families, and healthcare providers as needed
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active, unrestricted CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license required
- Prior experience working with school-age children, specifically with complex medical needs, is highly valued
- Comfortable and proficient assisting during bus transportation coverage
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and patient in a dynamic, child-centered environment
