Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity supporting students in an educational environment as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). In this unique role, you will primarily work alongside another CNA to provide comprehensive care for a female 4th grade student with specific health and mobility needs, including feeding assistance and use of a Hoyer lift for toileting. When not serving as a one-on-one assistant, you'll have the chance to contribute to classroom activities in a paraeducator capacity, assisting additional students as needed.
Schedule & Duration:
- Full-time hours during the school year
- Start: August 17, 2026
- End: June 4, 3037
Qualifications:
- Active CNA certification is required
- Demonstrated experience with feeding assistance and the safe use of mobility equipment, including Hoyer lifts
- Strong commitment to maintaining a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment
- Flexibility and reliability to adapt to varied classroom needs
- Experience with school-aged children or in educational settings is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct daily care to a designated student, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity
- Assist with all aspects of mobility and personal care, working closely with another CNA
- Support classroom activities and learning as a paraeducator when not in one-on-one care
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with students, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all protocols
