Step into an important role supporting individuals receiving behavioral health care as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on a 26-week contract. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who thrive in high-acuity settings and provide compassionate care to patients with psychiatric needs in a secure clinical environment.

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Shifts available:
  • Days: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
  • Evenings: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
  • Nights: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Overtime opportunities may arise, depending on facility needs

Qualifications:

• Active CNA certification, meeting applicable state requirements
• 1-2 years of prior contract experience required
• Preferred background in psychiatric, behavioral health, corrections, or long-term care environments
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain before starting)
• Ability to remain calm and compassionate in behavioral health situations
• Success in background check, drug screening, and onboarding processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily living activities, such as hygiene, grooming, meals, and mobility
• Observe, monitor, and document patient behaviors, mood, and safety concerns
• Support therapeutic programming as directed by nursing staff
• Maintain a safe and supportive setting by following behavioral health protocols
• Aid in patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Communicate patient status to the care team and collaborate effectively
• Adhere to facility protocols regarding confidentiality, infection control, and overall patient safety

$1,290 - $1,360/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
