This 26-week contract opportunity calls for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) eager to deliver essential support within a secure psychiatric hospital. Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Available shifts:
  • Days: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
  • Evenings: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
  • Nights: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Overtime may be available based on facility needs

Qualifications:

• Active CNA certification required
• 1-2 years of previous contract experience
• Must meet one of the following experience criteria:
  • At least 2 years working directly in mental health settings (such as state hospitals or mental health facilities)
  • OR minimum 5 years of experience in geriatric care (long-term care facilities, nursing homes, or hospice)
  • OR minimum 4 years working in medical urgent care or emergency room settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily living tasks, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and meal support
• Observe, document, and report on patient behaviors, moods, and safety
• Facilitate or support therapeutic activities under guidance of nursing staff
• Uphold behavioral health safety protocols to ensure a secure, supportive environment
• Aid in patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Communicate patient status with nursing and interdisciplinary teams
• Adhere to facility policies ensuring confidentiality, infection control, and patient safety

$1,290 - $1,360/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
