Job Title: Travel Cath Lab Tech
Location: New Lenox, IL

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Tech to join our team on a travel basis in New Lenox, IL. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for assisting physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures and other cardiovascular interventions. Your role will involve preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, monitoring patients during procedures, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of diagnostic images.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for catheterization procedures, including explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy machines and ultrasound devices.
  • Assist physicians during procedures by passing instruments, handling catheters, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Monitor patients' condition before, during, and after procedures, recognizing and responding to any complications.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure a sterile environment in the cath lab.

Requirements:

  • Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography.
  • Previous experience working in a Cath Lab or cardiovascular setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
