Job Description:

As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a critical role in supporting our interventional cardiologists and staff during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating and maintaining fluoroscopy and angiography equipment.
  • Preparing the cath lab for procedures, including sterile environment setup.
  • Assisting the physician with catheters, guidewires, and other medical devices.
  • Monitoring vital signs and documenting patient condition throughout procedures.
  • Ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and radiation safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • ARRT (R)RT certification in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent.
  • Arizona State Licensure in Radiologic Technology.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
  • Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
  • Excellent sterile technique and aseptic practices.
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current BLS certification.

Schedule:

  • Day Shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week.
