Position Overview: We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric/Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and provide exceptional care in Augusta, ME.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to patients in behavioral health settings, fostering a therapeutic milieu conducive to recovery.
Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, formulate nursing diagnoses, and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Administer psychotropic medications, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
Monitor patients' mental health status, assess for signs of distress or agitation, and implement therapeutic interventions to de-escalate crises.
Facilitate therapeutic groups, individual counseling sessions, and family education to promote mental health wellness and recovery.

Requirements:

Active RN license in the United States
Minimum one year of recent clinical experience in psychiatric/behavioral health settings
Flexibility to travel and adapt to new environments
Positive attitude and effective communication skills
