Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification in assistive technology required
• One or more of the following backgrounds: SLP-CCC, Teacher (Special Education or related), SLP (school setting), Occupational Therapist (school-based)
• Previous experience supporting students with diverse learning needs strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive assistive technology evaluations and recommendations for student individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Train staff, families, and students on device usage and integration into the classroom
• Collaborate closely with SLPs, special education teachers, and OTs to develop and implement effective strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of student progress and device utilization
• Support a caseload of students across a range of ages and abilities
• Stay current with best practices and emerging technology in the assistive technology field
