Job Description

In this contract role, you'll provide your expertise and commitment to students who benefit from specialized technology and tailored educational support. With a full-time schedule40 hours per week, Monday through Fridayyou'll have the opportunity to use your unique skills to remove barriers and champion accessibility across diverse learning environments.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid certification in Assistive Technology
  • Experience as an SLP-CCC, Teacher (including Special Education), or Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting
  • Familiarity with a range of adaptive and communication technologies for students
  • Strong collaboration and consultation abilities with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess student needs and recommend appropriate assistive technology solutions
  • Provide direct and consultative services to students, educators, and support staff
  • Develop training materials and lead hands-on demonstrations for instructors and families
  • Monitor effectiveness of devices and strategies, making adjustments as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and consultations
  • Support multiple students, adapting to a varied caseload and multiple age groups

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.00 to $60.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
