Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract role as an Assistive Technology Specialist, serving a diverse student population in a vibrant educational setting near Corona, CA. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary teamincluding SLPs, OTs, special education teachers, and general educatorsto deliver customized support and empower students to overcome learning barriers through innovative technology solutions. This full-time opportunity spans 40 hours per week across 5 days, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a balanced schedule.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Assistive Technology Certification required
  • Experience as an SLP CCC, school-based SLP, OT, special education teacher, or similar related role
  • Strong knowledge of assistive technology devices and software for K-12 learners
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess student needs and recommend appropriate assistive technology tools and strategies
  • Provide direct and consultative services in classrooms, supporting individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Train staff, students, and families on the effective implementation of assistive devices and software
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that inspires student success
