• Experience working with a wide range of assistive technology devices and software
• Strong knowledge of best practices in accessibility and universal design for learning
• Ability to conduct assessments and recommend effective technology solutions for students with diverse needs
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
• Flexibility and creativity in problem-solving

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess student needs through direct observation, consultation, and evaluations to determine appropriate assistive technology tools
• Train students, educators, and family members on the use and integration of assistive technology devices and applications
• Develop and update individualized plans with recommendations for technology supports
• Monitor student progress and adjust supports as needed to maximize access and participation
• Maintain thorough documentation and provide ongoing technical support for selected devices and software
• Stay current with advances in assistive technology and share knowledge with school teams
