Job Description

Support educational success by providing expertise as an Assistive Technology Specialist within a school setting in Anaheim, CA. This full-time contract position involves collaborating with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, special education teachers, and other educational professionals to tailor assistive technology solutions that enhance learning for students with diverse needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Assistive Technology Certification is required.
  • Experience working with school-age children and understanding of special education programs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including SLPs (School and CCC certified), OTs, and teachers.
  • Strong communication skills for training staff and supporting students.

Position Details:

  • Location: Anaheim, California.
  • Work schedule: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week in a school environment.
  • Engage directly with students to assess needs and implement assistive technology strategies.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to educators and therapists to maximize technology integration.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust technology plans according to individualized education programs (IEPs).
