We are now scheduling interviews for a .6 FTE Michigan Certified Educational Sign Language Interpreter job opening for the upcoming school year. This district is utilizing a Teletherapy platform where the Interpreter will work from home to provide interpreting services virtually from their home computer or laptop. The Sign Language Interpreter will be providing services to a middle school student for the entire school year. The daily schedule runs from approximately 11am-3pm Monday through Friday.
Applicants must have:
-An EIPA score of at least 3.5 (absolute minimum)
-Michigan Interpreter Certification
-Previous experience interpreting in school related settings
-Independent and comfortable working on their own from home
