Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified School Nurse in Santa Fe, New Mexico to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting the health and well-being of our students and providing quality healthcare services within the school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to students and staff members as needed
Conduct health assessments and screenings to identify student health concerns
Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with chronic health conditions
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policies
Monitor immunization compliance and maintain accurate health records for all students
Educate students, staff, and families about health-related topics and preventive measures
Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and community healthcare providers to promote a healthy school environment
Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
Current RN license in the state of New Mexico
Certification as a School Nurse or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe
Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
