Job Description

Position: Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Openings: Elementary, Middle, High School, and PreK

Para Support: Each virtual SLP is assigned a full-time Para (1.0) for support

Average Caseload: Varies by grade level, with an average of 50 students.

Indirect Services: One week each month (except December) allotted for indirect services, including consults, observations, Medicaid documentation, makeup therapy, etc.

License Requirements:

  • Alaska (AK) SLP License
  • Alaska Department of Education and Early Development (DEED) Teaching Certification (Can be in process)

Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid Alaska (AK) SLP License.
  • Hold or be in the process of obtaining an Alaska Department of Education and Early Development (DEED) Teaching Certification.
  • Ability to provide virtual speech-language services.
  • Commitment to supporting students' communication development.
