Seeking Skilled Registered Nurse for 1:1 Role w/ Medically Complex Student | Oxford, MA 

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join a school district in the Oxford area! The nurse will work 1-on-1 with a medically complex 21-year old student. This is an onsite position. The nurse will be aiding the student throughout the day, and this position . 

Job Overview:

• 1:1 Role with 21 year-old male student
• This position has the potential to have overtime hours
  • Time and a half pay for 40+ hours per week 
  • Ex.: If the RN works 43 hours in a week, they would be paid 1.5x the hourly rate for 3 hours 
• The RN will need to travel to the student's home, ride the bus to the school (approximately 45 minutes-1 hour), then ride the bus back.  On remote-learning days the RN will be working from the student's home. 
  • The student's family has pet cats.
• Student's Medical Information: 
  • Pitt-Hopkins Syndrome
  • Epilepsy (Lennox Gastaut Syndrome)
  • Non-Ambulatory
  • Non-Verbal
  • Trach care (deep suctioning)
  • G-tube for meds
  • Travels w/ambo bag and oxygen

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Medical/nursing skills as defined by the position
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a plus
