Description: A school district near Palm Springs, CA is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time hours this summer. The Registered Nurse will provide health assistance to students with basic medical needs as required.

 

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Administer medication as needed
  • Provide assistance to students with a range of disabilities and needs
  • Educate students on basic healthy habits
  • Document the treatment and the health of students as required of the job

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or associates in Nursing or related field
  • Licensed Practical Nurse in California
  • Ability to document the health and wellness of students
  • Desire to work with school aged-children
