MedSurg Tele RN Contract

A MedSurg Tele RN travel contract is open Atlantis, FL. It is a 13 week long assignment that will have the opportunity to extend based on the clinical and professional skills of the hired Travel Nurse. 

This position requires the MedSurg Tele RN to float to the Ortho, Neuro, and Trauma units as needed, but you will primarily work in a 36 bed unit and experience 1:5. Patient population can include total joint replacements, external fixators, strokes, tele, and traumas. 

Some weekend and holiday requirements may apply to this job.

Job Description:

  • Direct patient care
  • Illness prevention
  • Treatment
  • Pharmacology
  • Health management
  • Standard medical precautions

Preferred Experience: 

  • 2 years of recent  Med Surg experience 
  • Floating to related units

Certifications:

  • ACLS 
  • BLS 
  • NIHSS

Education & Licensure:

  • RN degree
  • License in FL or Compact state
