Job Description

Position: Remote Special Education Teacher
Location: South Dakota (Remote)
Position Type: Full-time | ASAP- May 23rd, 2025

VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Remote Special Education Teachers to support students with diverse learning needs in South Dakota.
*Multiple positions open with various caseloads

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with families and support staff.
Provide direct instruction to students with disabilities in various subjects, adapting materials and methods to meet individual needs.
Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to teaching strategies as necessary.
Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to create an inclusive learning environment.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and documentation.
Participate in virtual meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Valid South Dakota Special Education certification.
Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
Proficient with technology and online teaching platforms.
Experience with various caseloads.
Must pass a tech screen.
