Are you a Physical Therapist licensed in Maryland?  Are you looking to join the team at a wonderful school district? Are you looking for a remote position for 2 days a week? 

You may be the ideal candidate for us! We are searching for a part-time Physical Therapist for a work from home position to join the team at a school district in the Silver Spring area. Please see below for additional requirements. 

Job Details: 

• Teletherapy position 
  • Additional resources (activities, assessment tools) are available on our telehealth platform
• 2 days per week
• PTs will conduct evaluations and testing
• Provide direct therapy services
• Attend IEP meetings
• Provide consultative services with students to learn about their physical condition and symptoms
• Diagnosing movement dysfunction and developing a treatment plan
• Teaching students how to properly use therapeutic exercise techniques
• Advising the student and family about in-home treatment options and exercises
• Types of Disabilities: Varied mild to moderate
• Age Group: K-12th Grade

Technology Requirements:

• Must have a computer that is less than 5 years old
• Must have a working web camera
• Must have high-speed internet capabilities
• Candidates must go through a short tech-screening

Requirements:

• Maryland licensed Physical Therapist
• 2+ years of school-based experience
• Experience with teletherapy is strongly preferred
• Must be tech-savvy
