Job Details:

Position: Digital Special Education Teacher
Location: Illinois (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-time
Duration: Academic year
Caseload: K-12 students with mild to moderate diagnoses

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid Illinois Special Education teaching license or eligibility to obtain one.
Proven experience working with K-12 students who have mild to moderate diagnoses.
Familiarity with assessments, data interpretation, and the development and implementation of IEPs.
Proficiency in using digital platforms for virtual instruction and accessing educational resources.
In-depth knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to adapt instructional strategies and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
